By enhancing bridge controller design and using embedded FC-SATA silicon router technology, this innovative enclosure offers direct disk to bridge controller communications enhancing sustained performance as well as allowing for highly flexible configuration options.

Targeted at customers demanding a low cost nearline storage solution that combines enterprise class functionality with ultra high capacity and sustainable performance, this fully redundant system delivers throughput speeds of up to 760MB/s using dual independent controllers and ranging from 5TB to 35TB of storage data.

Designed for use with the 4200 FC-SATA RAID or any other external RAID controller or NAS head, the 4200 JBOD can be integrated into an existing Fibre Channel SAN infrastructure. Customers also benefit from fully redundant hot swappable components and embedded enclosure management services that offer simple communication and error notification between system and host.
