 From portable to rackmount,  IQSS offers high-performance, easy to manage, cost-effective direct attached storage systems (DAS) solutions for  block-level access to storage media over a variety of protocols including SAS, Thunderbolt and Infiniband, supporting 2.5″ and 3.5″ disk drive types  for high-availability applications.

DAS provides customization, flexibility, and scalability within a single dedicated array. With direct access storage you connect directly to the server that contains the storage to access your data. This simple storage solution is ideal for applications such as email, financial accounting packages, and database applications which require block-level access (the ability to access blocks of data within a file, such as a specific record or field within a database), rather than file-level access (the ability to access entire data files, such as a spreadsheet or word processing file). DAS Subsystems are typically used for Clustering, Enterprise High Performance Systems, Disk to Disk Backup, and High Definition Video Editing.
